Here is the July Recipe:

That’s right—we’re going sweet and spiced this July, and trust me, you’re going to love it. Canela (aka Ceylon cinnamon) is warm, floral, and a little bit magical. It’s softer and more delicate than the cinnamon sticks you might be used to—and it shines in both sweet and savory dishes.

This month, we’re keeping things cool with a silky homemade Canela Ice Cream that’s creamy, dreamy, and full of fragrant canela flavor. It’s a breeze to make and tastes like a hug in frozen form. Perfect for long summer nights and backyard hangouts. 🍨🌙

Once you try it, you’ll be adding canela to everything—promise. 💛

Alternate Recipe: Usually we give an alternate recipe if you can't find the challenge ingredient but this month, if you can't find Canela, use the more easy to find Cassia cinnamon sticks instead. Also, if you don't have an ice cream maker, I give instructions on how to make ice cream without an ice cream maker in the post!
